BEVERLY A. SABINS
AVOCA-Beverly A. Sabins, 72, died early Wednesday morning (Oct. 12, 2011) at Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital in Bath, after a short illness.
Born on April 1, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Helena Rawleigh Curry.
A resident of the Cohocton, Avoca and Bath area for most of her life, Beverly enjoyed doing scrapbooking, puzzle books as well as playing cards and Yahtzee.
Her family includes her six children, Donald (Erin) Young of Florida, Deborah (Kevin) Saxton of Wayland, Donna McElroy (Mike Richards) of Avoca, Diane McCaslin (Dale Clark) of Bath, Douglas (Shari) Young of Livonia and Betty (Dan) McCaslin of Cohocton; her 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; her two sisters, Mary Jean Panzik and Linda Miller; her three brothers, Edwin Curry, Ronald Curry and Richard Curry; also her many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her husbands, LeRoy Young and Floyd Sabins; her sister, Judith Walls and her two brothers, Robert and Charles Curry.
Calling hours are from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the Avoca Funeral Home, 22 N. Main St., Avoca, where a funeral service will be held following calling hours at 1 p.m. Saturday. Committal services and interment will follow at Vale of Rest Cemetery, Avoca.

A very special person. Beverly was a friend of the family and my neighbor many years ago. She will be remembered always. May God bless you.
