PAULINE A. WHITE
HORNELL-Pauline A. White, 98, passed away Saturday morning (May 7, 2011) in the presence of her loving family and in the comfort of her home on Fourth Street in Hornell.
Born in Sandusky, Ohio on Nov. 12, 1912, she was a daughter of the late August and Pauline Etoski Renwand. She was married to Joseph F. Dixon, who predeceased her on Dec. 8, 1941. She later married Nelon F. White, who predeceased her on Dec. 23, 1975. Besides her parents and husbands she was also predeceased by her daughter, Linda Warczok; her two grandchildren, Cathy Bossard and Steve Bossard; her two sons-in-law, Walter Warczok and Stan Shepard as well as her five brothers and five sisters.
A resident of Hornell for most of her life, Pauline was employed at the former Kaiser Glove Factory in Hornell and later for Twin Hickory Golf Club as a club house attendant.
She was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church of Our Lady of the Valley Parish in Hornell.
Pauline was an avid reader who also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. A talented seamstress, she will be remembered for her passion for flowers and her beautiful flower gardens at her home.
A loving and caring mother and grandmother, her family includes her three daughters, Joanne (Richard) Curran, Mary Ellen (Glenn) Bossard and Loretta Jean Shepard all of Hornell; her son, William (Bonnie) White of Hopkington, N.H.; her 17 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great-grandchildren; also her nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 4-7 p.m. Monday at the Bishop & Johnson Funeral Home, Inc., 285 Main St., Hornell. Friends are invited to meet her family at St. Ann’s Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Committal prayers and interment will follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery, Hornell.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute in her memory to St. Ann’s Church of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, 27 Erie Ave., Hornell, N.Y. 14843 (envelopes will be available at the funeral home) or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

So Sorry to here about this.So sad… Her friends and family should stay strong. She is a remarkable women to live 98 years old.
