  1. On behalf of the members of the A. E. Crandall Hook and Ladder Company, I extend our condolences to the family of Barb Fletcher, our colleague and friend. Barb’s service to the citizens of the Village and Town of Alfred as an EMT and firefighter was exemplary. She will be missed by all.

  2. Barbara was a well-liked JET Instructor. Participants in her workshops and seminars enjoyed her teaching style and stories that made an impact on their educational experience. She gave them a variety of useful skills and tool to take back their workplace. She will be missed by the JET Staff, especially her willingness to teach a variety of topics for our organization.

  3. Barb Fletcher was a good and generous neighbor, and her good warm heart extended to all her adopted animals too. She always made time for us to take a tour of her barn and pasture to meet the newest addition to her collection. Sometimes they were lame or halt, sometimes just goofy — like the peacocks she took from us — but Barb loved them all. Her generous and tolerant spirit remains a model for us.

  4. I am so very sorry. I worked with Barb in 1967-68. We were resident hall directors together and had such fun with our adventures with the kids. I looked for her on Facebook and never expected this. Bless you Barb, and your family. Paula Newland Adwell
