GRACE M. BEATY
HORNELL/BATH-Grace M. Beaty, formerly of Hornell and a resident of the Taylor Health Center in Bath, passed away Saturday afternoon (Feb. 21, 2009) at Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital in Bath one day before her 91st. birthday.
Born in Holyoke, Mass. on Feb. 22, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Flora Hunter Pringle. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Stahl.
A former resident of Westfield, Mass., Grace was employed there by New England Tel & Tel. She also resided in San Diego, Calif. before moving to Hornell in 1983. Before she retired she was employed in quality control at Corning Glass.
Her family includes her two daughters, Jo Anne Culbertson of Bath and Suzanne (Thomas) Turner of Ramona, Calif.; her four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; her sister, Doris Neal of Holyoke, Mass.; also her nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service.
