  7. I really got to know Carol when she came to the SCHCF. She was such alot of fun to talk with. When she lived in Avoca with Buster I use to go over and visit. She is such a lovely lady. Good Luck to all. Love Ya Carol.

  8. I met “Grandma Calkins” when she was a patient at the Dr’s office I worked at. I would stop by to see her at her home and would give her the shot she needed at home so that she wouldn’t have to go out. She made the best pie crust and would make apple pies for my family. My son’s even started calling her Grandma. I would often call her to check on her if I noticed something differant at her house when I drove by. Gradma Calkins was such a joy to have known.

  9. We are saddened by Carol’s passing, Carol was a special lady. We have known Carol all our lives from seeing her each day in the school cafeteria to waiting on us at Murphy’s. We got to know her better when she and Dick got to be close friends in recent years. She was a kind gentle loving lady. Our sympathy to Joanie and Dick and families.
