ANNA M. HARRICK

HORNELL-Anna M. Harrick, 93, of Hornell, passed away Friday morning (Oct. 10, 2008) at McAuley Manor in North Hornell.
Born in Argentine, Pa. on July 4, 1915, she was a daughter of the late John and Caroline Biega Hosick. On July 4, 1941 she was married in Buffalo to George Harrick, who predeceased her in 1989, after 48 years of marriage. Besides her parents and husband she was also predeceased by her 10 brothers and sisters.
A resident of Buffalo for most of her life, Anna has resided in Hornell since 1995 where she attended Christ Episcopal Church.
She will be remembered as being a hard worker, who was a great cook and a very talented sewer.
Her family includes her three sons, George (Brenda) Harrick of Lynchburg, Va., James (Susan) Harrick of Hornell and Daniel (Judy) Harrick of Binghamton; her nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; her brother, Anthony “Tony” (Brenda) Hosick of Youngstown, Ohio; her sister, Paula Rumbaugh of Hillards, Pa.; also her nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no calling hours. Friends are invited to meet her family at Christ Episcopal Church where a Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Wednesday (Oct. 29) with the Rev. Thomas Gramley officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Buffalo.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute in her memory to the Stained Glass Window Fund of Christ Episcopal Church, PO Box 336, Hornell, NY 14843.
