March 21, 2008, age 79, formerly of Lancaster NY; beloved husband of the late Phyllis (nee Barney) Minnich; loving father of Sandy (Tom) Wiegel and Kelly(Roy)Grietzke; loving grandfather of Sara Wiegel, Justin Grietzke and Melanie Grietzke; brother of Gerald (Judy) Minnich. The family will be present to receive friends Thursday from 10-11 AM at the Zurbrick-Amigone Funeral Home 5615 Broadway in Lancaster where a funeral service will be held immediately following at 11 AM. Interment in Lakeside Cemetery, Hamburg.
I wish to express my sympathy in the loss of your father John. As a board member at Baytree with your father i was pleased to work with him on nearly a daily basis. His input into matters of business of the HOA was invaluable to us. I will miss him and his wit.
John was a very nice man who always sat out front and had a smile and a wave as we drove by. We talked to him often, and being from Pittsburgh, we would talk about the cold, snowy winters and how we did not miss them. We will miss him. Our sympathies to your family.
