I had the pleasure of caring for Marcelle as a nursing student at St. James Mercy Health. I appreciated her smile, warmth and positive encouragement. I am grateful for the time spent with such a wonderful lady and my prayers are with her and her family. God Bless you, Marcelle.
I have been a lifelong friend of the Lauterborn family. Since kindergarden Nancy Lauterborn was and still is my friend. I remember loving to visit their home and play in the many fu things we had to hang out in at their home. Campers, small cabin houses out back. All with electricity..all by ourselves. What fun. Just the girls just havin fun. The Lauterborns were great parents, they let us have fun, and probably supervised us without us even knowing about it. A special trip tp Aunt Martha’s in N.J. was the highlight of my young years. I had never been to the ocean. How nice to be invited. Well all was well at Seaside, at the Military base, and at sea with Mr. and Mrs. dressed in their finest swim attire…Abright blue floral print bathingsuit with an accompanying Bathing cap, covered in large Rubber flowers sticking out all over the cap, tightly fitting Mrs. Lauterborn’s head. Ready..set..swim. It will always be remembered as my first and only ocean vacation, until I reached adulthood. So, thanks for the memories, Mrs. Lauterborn, and I hope you enjoy being reunited with your husband. God Bless you.
