Timothy G. “Tim” Connors

HORNELL – Timothy G. “Tim” Connors, 63, passed away Wednesday (January 8, 2025) at his home on Pine Street.

Born in Hornell on April 30, 1961, he was a son of the late James and Catherine (Witherow) Connors.
Tim resided in Corning, NY after graduating from Cortland before moving back to Hornell to care for his parents in their final years. He worked primarily in sales and management for home health care equipment throughout his career. Although we all know that Tim’s real passion was all things sports – primarily the Buffalo Bills, Mets, and Red Sox. Anyone that knew Tim was always amazed at his never-ending supply of sports statistics. He enjoyed attending any sporting event he could.

Tim will be missed dearly by his siblings, John (Angie) Connors of Mountain Top, PA, Elizabeth (Greg) DeLaus of Penfield, NY, and Michael Connors of Lockport, IL; nephew, Matt DeLaus of Albany, NY and niece, Catherine DeLaus of Fairport, NY; aunt and uncle, many cousins and his beloved animals, Zoey, Josie, Meadow, and Bunny Rabbit.

Calling hours are 5-8 FRIDAY (JANUARY 31, 2025) at Bishop-Johnson & DeSanto Funeral Home, 285 Main St, Hornell. Funeral will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. SATURDAY (FEBRUARY
1, 2025), followed by committal services and interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Town of Fremont.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute in his memory to Cozy Cats n Kittens Rescue, 80 Seneca St., Hornell, NY 14843. Envelopes for memorial contributions will be available at the funeral home. This wonderful rescue has agreed to take Tim’s beloved cats and as such we wanted contributions in Tim’s memory to go here.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Patty Ives for her friendship and support of Tim as he navigated multiple health issues.

The Bishop-Johnson & DeSanto Funeral Home is honored to assist Tim’s family with the arrangements.
