Larry G. Bennett
ARKPORT – Larry G. Bennett, 65 years of age, passed away on Thursday (May 23, 2024) unexpectedly at home following an illness.
Larry was born on September 18, 1958 to Fay and Barbara (Wilkins) Bennett. He graduated from Canaseraga Central School in 1977. Larry worked on the family farm for many years. He worked on several other farms in the area over the years. He had his own landscaping business.
Larry enjoyed working outdoors. He especially enjoyed the time he spent with his granddaughters. He loved taking walks and playing games with his youngest granddaughter. He especially enjoyed being out in public and socializing with his friends and family. He was a big fan of the Buffalo Bills and enjoyed going to the casinos. In his younger years he enjoyed riding motorcycles.
Larry is survived by his sons, Brian (Mathilda) Bennett of Fremont and Brandon Bennett of Hornell. He is also survived by his siblings Christine Kanaval of Florida, Kathleen (Sam) Hendee of Arkport, Lee (Theresa) Bennett of Canaseraga, Sandy (Greg) Brokaw of Canandaigua, David (Penny) Bennett of Arkport. His granddaughters Mackenzzie Barrett, Jenna Barrett and Kaylee Bennett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
No funeral services will be held per his request. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date, at a time and place to be announced.
