Rau Spencer was one of a kind. I worked withhim at the CSCS School District and I did not consider him a co worker, but a friend. Always helpful and upbeat he supported both his co workers and the students with a smile on his face. He loved his family fiercely and was proud of them. He will be missed and my heart goes out to his family.
Dear Jackie and family,
We are saddened to learn of Ray’s passing. We wish you the comfort of happy memories.
Sincere condolences.
He was a great teacher. Had him a few times in middle school for both computer class and an afterschool program focused on computer art. You could really tell he was passionate about his job and students.
My deepest condolences Mr Spencer was a teacher of mine at Campbell Savona truly enjoyed his classes and his brilliance fly high
So sad to hear he was the best computer teacher spent a lot of my time in his room after school for scifair he will be missed tremendously
I always looked forward to Mr Spencer’s computer class, I have never forgotten the importance of being able to type, because of him! My family sends our deepest condolences for his family and friends.
Jackie, I am saddened to hear of Ray’s loss. Being both from hammondsport, we were able to become friends when we worked together at CS. I still remember when he allowed the students to tear apart a computer for the first time. He was a proud father and husband. Good man.
