  1. Goodbye Aunt Jessie. I remember well the various times I and my family visited with you and Uncle Jim. Your home has always been a place of peace for me. I am certain that is because of your love for the Lord and for your family.

I hope you are having a grand reunion and celebration with all of your family an that side on the veil. I look forward to seeing you again !

    Love,
    Naomi

  2. As a city child , it was always a treat to visit our relatives the Haenisches’ welcoming home in the country. I recently paid a visit this past spring, rekindling memories of our summer childhood vacations and spending a few hours with our “Aunt Jessie”. Please accept my siblings and my own condolences of your loss. I will always remember her kindness and thoughtfulness at each visit.

  3. Dear Aunt Jess
Though I haven’t seen you in a number of years, I thought of you often. Especially when I am looking at gifts you made for me and my siblings at Christmas time.
You will be sorely missed. Please give my Mom a kiss when you see her in heaven.

  4. We will miss you Jessie , we enjoyed the many conversations over the years when we saw you. I still have the many things you would bring me lovingly hand sewn by you. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

  5. I met Jessie in the kitchen while preparing the community Sunday Meals.
She was doing what she did best, offering to do whatever needed to be done along with a warm smile, kind words and a generous portion of the love of Christ! Whenever asked “How are you Jessie?”, she always responded with “I am blessed beyond measure!” I always felt better after talking with Jessie. I consider her a ‘Barnabas’ in my life because she could always encourage me with the Word of God and her life experience.
I will always remember the day I felt ill and Jessie immediately came to lay her hand on my shoulder and pray over me! She was (and I know continues to be) a prayer warrior for me and my family. What a blessing that God placed her in my life path! I will miss her friendship and spirit filled wisdom.
When I think of Jessie, I am reminded of Micah 6:8 ‘What the Lord requires of us is this: to do what is just, show constant love and live in humble fellowship with our God.’
‘But thanks be to God! God uses us (used Jessie) to make the knowledge about Christ spread everywhere like a sweet fragrance.’
    – 2 Corinthians 2:14
