KATHLEEN ANNE BEDIENT BERGGSTRESSER
PRATTSBURGH – Kathleen Anne Bedient Bergstresser was born in Town of Orange, NY on November 20, 1932 to Vincent G. and Ella (Morrow) Bedient. She died October 25, 2023 at the age of 90.
Kathleen graduated from Penn Yan Academy and Keuka College. She married Duane Bergstresser on December 28, 1957 and was a lifelong partner with him cultivating their vineyards and beef cattle. Kathleeen was a former tax assessor for the town of Pulteney and a bookkeeper for Prattsburgh Bus Lines. In their retirement years, she and Duane wintered in Dade City, FL.
Kathleen is survived by her son William (Cathleen) Bergstresser, daughter Pamela Bergstresser, grandchildren Nicole Campbell (Matthew Lafler), Ashley Bailey, Brianna (Mitchell) Allen and Haley Finch (Noah Hullings), great-grandchildren Blake and Mackenzi Campbell, Lacie Bergstresser, Talon and Meah Bailey, and Kaislee Allen. She is survived by siblings Vincent D. Bedient, Norma Nelson, and Dawn (John) Medrek as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Vincent and Ella, husband Duane, infant daughter Barbara Ann Bergstresser, and her dog Montana as well as siblings Mary Socola, David Bedient, and Zane Bedient, sister-in-law Modeste Bedient, and brothers-in-law John Socola and Howard Nelson.
There will be no services per Kathleen’s request. Interment will occur at the Glenview Cemetery in Pulteney.
