After retiring she dedicated her life to being a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
A devout Catholic, Kay was an active member of St. Ann’s Church of Our Lady of the Valley Parish in Hornell where she was a member of the choirs, taught religious education classes (CCD), a member of the Adoration Chapel and a longtime member of the prayer chain and participated in bible study.
Throughout the years she was a Cub Scout leader and Girl Scout leader. Kay especially enjoyed gardening and watching birds and was a member of the Cornell Ornithology Club.
She is lovingly survived by six children, Rev. Gus Wall, SVD, Provincial of Bay St. Louis, MS, Peter (Lisa) Wall of Canisteo, NY, Thomas Wall of Hornell, Mary (David) Lindeman of Fairport, NY, Monica (Shane) Ogorzalek of Avoca, NY and Andrew (Kate) Wall of Hornell; 18 grandchildren, Katie (Jen) Bowie, Nick Wall (Kevin Reilly), Olivia (Nate) Palmer, Matt (Brandi) Wall, Jedidiah Wall, Benjamin (Shawna) Wall, Alexander (Nicole) Wall, Cecilia Wall, Adam (Kali) Lindeman, Ashley Lindeman (fiancé Pete VanCamp), Vincent Capluzzi, Joseph Capluzzi, Reaghan Ogorzalek, Alaina Ogorzalek, Krystian Ogorzalek, Zoe Balinsky, Emelia Wall and James Wall; 10 great-grandchildren; and one brother, David Dean.
