HAMMONDSPORT-Thomas E. Israel, 63, passed away on Tuesday (Dec. 15, 2020), at his home in Hammondsport with his loving wife Carol Blowers Israel, family, and friends by his side.
He is predeceased by his parents, Carlos and Mary Israel; his mother and father-in-law, Betty and Andy Blowers; and brother-in-law, Doug Blowers.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Blowers Israel of Hammondsport; his brother, Ken (Barb) Israel of Mt. Horeb, Wisc.; brothers-in-law, Ray (Lana) Blowers of Penn Yan, N.Y., Carl (JoAnn) Blowers of Conway, South Carolina, Larry (Elaine) Blowers of Wichita Falls, Tex., and Roy (Taff) Blowers of Pensacola, Fla.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great happiness to Tom. He loved spending time with family and dear friends and showed great pride in his numerous nieces and nephews and all of their accomplishments. Tom enjoyed gardening, a good barbeque, and supporting his loved ones, especially Carol, with various projects. He truly enjoyed greeting everyone with warmth and kindness. His humor has left an imprint on all of our hearts and will forever be remembered.
There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 19, 2020) at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Hammondsport, with Pastor Barre Butts officiating.
