ROBERT “BOB” A. WRIGHT

PULTENEY – Robert “Bob” A. Wright, 74, of Pulteney, NY passed Wednesday (Nov. 30th). Bob was born on October 5, 1948, to the late Fredrick and Pauline (Douden) Wright.

Bob joined the U.S. Marines out of high school, serving in Vietnam as an aircraft mechanic. Upon returning home, he spent many years working various jobs in the area. He enjoyed traveling to tractor shows, watching auto racing, and working on various projects with his son Shane and stepsons Tim and Jim.

Bob is predeceased by his parents and brother Jon Wright. He is survived by his significant other of 30 years Hazel Buck of Pulteney, NY; Sons Shane (Melissa Holley) Wright of Penn Yan, Shad (Kristen) Wright of Madison, MS; Grandchildren Mallory (Austin), Lilliana, Aubry, and Sawyer Wright; Brothers Mark, Tom, Brian Wright; Sister Chris Fox; Stepchildren Tim (Brenda) Buck, Katrina (Jim) Majoros, and Brandie (Tony) Falcione; many step grandchildren. Bob will especially be missed by “Buddy” his cocker spaniel who he shared many hours of loyal companionship with.

A graveside service will be held at the Bath National Cemetery on Thursday (December 8th) at 11 am with military honors followed by a celebration of life at the Bath American Legion. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Bob’s honor to your local VA hospital.
