MARY E. GOODSELL

LEESBURG, FLA./HORNELL-Mary E. Goodsell, 75, of Leesburg, Fla., formerly of Hornell, died early Tuesday morning (Nov. 1, 2011) at the Cornerstone Hospice in Tavares, Fla.
Born in Hornell on Oct. 24, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Ellen McIntosh Cole. In 1957, she was married at St. Ann’s Church in Hornell to Richard I. “Dick” Goodsell, who survives.
A graduate of Hornell High School, class of 1955, Mary was a former resident of Hornell, North Hornell, Rochester and has resided in Leesburg, Fla. since 1992.
She was employed by Westinghouse in Bath before she retired from Taylor Instrument in Rochester.
Mary was a former communicant of St. Ann’s Church of Our Lady of the Valley Parish in Hornell and a former member of VFW Auxiliary in New Port Richey, Fla.
Her family includes her husband of 54years, Dick; also several nieces and nephews including, Bill Cole of Victorville, Calif., Tom Cole of Farmington, Mark Cole and David Cole all of Baltimore, Md.
Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by her three brothers, Raymond, James and Lewis Cole and her two sisters, Jane Smith and Janet Cole.
There will be no calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of her family. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Town of Fremont
