MARGARET H. “PEGGY” HALL
AVOCA-Margaret H. “Peggy” Hall, 94 of 7 Frank St., died Tuesday evening (Feb. 3, 2009) at Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital in Bath.
Born in Cohocton on Jan. 8, 1915 she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mina Northrup Rynders. On Dec. 6, 1975 she was married in Kenmore to Harold E. Hall, Sr., who predeceased her on Sept. 11, 2001, after 26 years of marriage. Besides her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by one brother.
A former resident of Cohocton, Peggy attended school in Cohocton and owned and operated Peggy’s Beauty Salon in Kenmore before moving to Avoca in 1980.
Her family includes her son, James E. Boring of Rochester; two stepsons, Howard E. Hall, Jr. of Georgia and Garry E. (Darlene) Hall of California; also her nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 4-6 p.m. Saturday at the Avoca Funeral Home, 22 N. Main St., Avoca where a funeral and committal service will be held following calling hours at 6 p.m. Saturday. Interment will be in Valley View Cemetery, Avoca.
