Karen Ann (Kellogg) Galutia

NEW ALBANY, IN/AVOCA, NY:  It is with great sadness the family of Karen Ann (Kellogg) Galutia of New Albany, IN, announce her passing on November 5, 2022 after a courageous battle with a long term illness.
 
Karen was born November 20, 1953 in Moses Lake, Washington to Robert and Dorothy (Cummins) Kellogg.  Karen grew up in Avoca, New York, attended school there and graduated. She also attended BOCES Cosmology School in Hornell, NY.
 
Karen is survived by her mother Dorothy Kellogg of St. Marys, PA; her daughter Jill Ellen Bramer of Salem, IN; her sister Sherry (Paul) Hoffman of Ridgway, PA; 4 Grandsons Zackary (Taylor) Babberl; Corey Babberl; James Bramer and Kyle Bramer of Salem, IN. She was also blessed with 2 Great Grandsons Jayce and Aaron Babberl.      Karen is also survived by the love of her life Chuck Shoemake of New Albany, IN.
 
Karen was preceded in death by her father Robert Kellogg.
 
Karen will be remembered for her kindness, her fun spirit, her love of family and her devotion to her furry friends. She worked for many years as a Payroll Clerk in Louisville, KY. 
 
To honor her wishes, there will be no calling hours.  Funeral arrangements are pending.
