Jared R. Robords

AVOCA – Jared R. Robords, 45, of Dyer Hill Road, passed away Thursday (June 19, 2025) at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY after a long illness.

Born in Hornell on Oct. 21, 1979 he was a son of Charles and Kimberly (Storm) Robords.

A graduate of Hornell High School, Jared was employed with his father at Crowley Dairy in Arkport, NY before becoming the farm manager at the ABC Ranch in Canisteo, NY.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was always taking a child out for the youth hunt. Jared loved following his boys in their sports activities.

Surviving is his wife of 22 years, Samantha (Gallton) Robords who he married on Sept. 5, 2003; three sons, Timothy Robords, Patrick (Charlie) Robords and William Robords; one grandson, Jackson Robords; his mother Kimberly Robords; his father Charles “Chuck” (Janet) Robords; one brother, John (Kizzy) Robords; paternal grandmother, Roxy Robords; two stepsisters, Shelly Stephens and Karen (Kevin) Stephens; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Jared was predeceased by one sister, Marsha Robords, paternal grandfather, John Robords and maternal grandmother, Kate Storm.

Calling hours are 12 NOON – 4 P.M. on SATURDAY (JUNE 28, 2025) at the LIVING WATERS CHURCH, 1737 South Yard Road, Hornell where a memorial service will take place at 5 P.M. SATURDAY.
