Charmaine Louise DeMay

BATH-Charmaine Louise DeMay, 64, of Fairview Drive, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning (Dec. 11, 2020) at Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital in Bath.

Born in Bath on Aug. 1, 1956, she was a graduate of Hammondsport Central School and Corning Community College.

Charmaine was co-owner of the Chateau Renaissance Wine Cellars on Fish Hatchery Road in Bath with her husband of 34 years, Patrice DeMay.

Besides her husband, she is also survived by her mother, Joan Stone of Hammondsport; two aunts, Janet Jerree and Leah (James) Nichiporuk all of Hammondsport; two sisters-in-law, Catherine Vickery and Maryse Seremet; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Serge and Monique DeMay; her “Papa”, Fenton “Bill” Stone; grandmother, Louise Husted; two brothers-in-law, George Vickery and Kenneth F. Seremet; two aunts, Rosie (Husted) Forstor and Nancy (Husted) Railsback and one uncle, Charles R. Husted.

A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family, with Rev. Lynne Sharp officiating.
