HAMMONDSPORT – Brenda D. Cook, 68, of Lake Street, passed away early Monday morning (Dec. 18, 2023) at the Arnot-Odgen Medical Center in Elmira, NY.

Born in Hammondsport on Jan. 31, 1955 she was the daughter of the late Donald and Luella (Walruth) Hoad. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, David Hoad and her second husband, Jeffrey Modest.

She is lovingly survived by her husband, Willie; three children, Jason (Kim) Baldwin, Bryon Baldwin and April Baldwin; many grandchildren; three brothers, Randy Hoad, Ricky Hoad and Rodney Hoad; as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to join her family at the Bishop & DeSanto Funeral Home, 35 Main St., HAMMONDSPORT where a funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 23, 2023). Interment will be in the Thomas Cemetery, Pulteney.
