ANDOVER/HORNELL – Beth Renee Woodworth, 61, formerly of Hornell, entered into rest early Sunday morning (July 23, 2023) at her home in Andover, NY, after a brief illness.
Born in Hornell on June 11, 1962, she was a daughter of the late David Hoyt and Cathy Swift, who survives and resides in Hornell.
A graduate of Hornell High School, Beth received a bachelor’s degree from Alfred State College.
An avid football fan, she enjoyed spending time fishing, skydiving, traveling and trips to the Casinos.
Beth had a beautiful life and enjoyed it to the fullest; she lived it on her own terms and had no regrets.
Besides her mother, she is lovingly survived by four children, Michelle (Bernie) Greunke of Arkport, NY, Christopher Whritenour (Amber Oles) of Bath, NY, Shaun Whritenour of Andover, NY, with whom she resided with for the past 10 years and Courtney Whritenour of Arkport, NY; six grandchildren, Brock, Patience, Hannah, Locklynn, Jayce and Everly; two sisters, Lynn (Joseph) D’Agostino of Hornell and Michelle Howard of Ithaca, NY; three brothers, Darrin (Gretchen) Hoyt, Michael Hoyt and Jasin Hoyt all of Hornell; as well as several nieces and nephews.
To honor her wishes a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
